1 DAY - MASAI MAGIC EXPERIENCE

This is a  KTB Signature Experience tour recognized by the Kenya Tourist Board in 2020 as offering a unique, exceptional and authentic travel experience

Not many travelers have a chance to visit this special place.  Our programs are part of the lives of the Masai clan who call it home. There are 1.2 million Masai in Kenya.      

The day starts with a fascinating drive to spectacular Masai country. A warm song and dance welcome awaits you at the village – and, you can join in the fun as a warrior leads you in a Masai dance class.

After the energetic start to the day an Elder invites you to share tea at his home. This experience brings more insights as he chats candidly with you about Masai life, including rites of passage and the roles of men and women in traditional Masai society.

The women’s role is all about caring for the family and that includes building the home – as they construct a new manyatta from sticks and mud, they’ll invite you to help out and teach you their skills.

As the afternoon unfolds, they’ll share more stories as they guide you in making your own piece of traditional Masai jewellery to keep as a memento of your one day living the Masai way.
