A Greener Act

One Horizon Africa shares many of the same values with Bianca Caruana, the founder and driver of The Altruistic Traveller. And in our own ways we have both promoted the need for responsible and sustainable travel practices.    Like One Horizon, Bianca was ahead of the pack, in promoting the need for new approaches to tourism.  

And Bianca has done it again with a new initiative that she is championing called  Greener Act.  Greener Act is the first ever app that allows travellers to make positive changes by engaging in community projects and supporting local causes when travelling the world.  Downloading this app gives travellers arriving at their destination, awareness of local sustainable activities, crafted by responsible organisations: greener places, events and causes.  We encourage our friends, as they travel the world, to use this platform to participate and contribute in tourism initiatives which support responsible and sustainable tourism practices.   Initiatives which are changing the world.
