DANIEL OUR MOVIE STAR

What does Daniel, our Masai host, have in common with Robert Redford the Hollywood legend? Well more than you might think. You see, Daniel was an extra in the movie OUT OF AFRICA as it was filmed partly in a valley close to where he lives.

We believe that Daniel stole every scene in the movie that he was in, and its probably the reason that he didn’t get much movie work after that. After all, whose going to put up with an extra stealing the scenes from the movie’s star!

Well, that’s what we believe and it’s Hollywood’s loss. But the good thing is that Daniel is now one of the leaders in his clan and he hosts our guests who absolutely love him in our Masai Magic tour. And his knowledge of his heritage, the land and the environment is second to none. On reflection he has a lot in common with Robert Redford than you might have thought
