Sharm El Sheik - A Beach Retreat
Overview
Your Sheik El Sharm experience combines the very best that Egypt has to offer.  Not only are you able to experience the Great Pyramids of the Giza Plateau, but also the iconic Sphinx. Both are over 4,500 years old and a testament to the engineering brilliance of the ancient Egyptians. And for that reason, this tour includes a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NEC). The museum captures the essence of both the pharaohs influence over Egypt but also the impact of Christianity and Islam in shaping what Egypt is today.  Over the last 2 years, the most notable of antiquities have been transferred to NMEC and the once diverse locations of artifacts of ancient Egypt are now complete histories within the museum. And central to this are the mummies of the most famous pharaohs of ancient Egypt which now reside at the museum.
And of course, all this before you embark to the brilliance of Sharm El Sheik.  The kaleidoscope of colours as you arrive will astound you. The clarity of the sea, the colours of the coral and the teeming fish life will draw you to the water every day. And when you do decide to venture outside of the resort to the town itself, you will find great markets to visit, a great nightlife of restaurants and bars and a myriad of attractions which are a great way to sample everything that Egypt has to offer.
