In The Footsteps of Moses and Mary
Overview
An Amazing Holiday Awaits You
This amazing experience combines those aspects of Egyptian culture which, centuries ago, distinguished it at as a leader in innovation, science, art and design. And underlying these were a rich history in the evolution of faith in all its forms.
This holiday has been crafted to showcase the very best that Egypt has to offer. This experience begins with an overview of the achievements of ancient Egypt. From the design and building of the pyramids, to the various cultural and social changes that have shaped Egypt through the centuries. And in that, a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation explains in vivid form, the forces that have left their mark on Egypt not only the pharaonic era but those which have followed. And towards the second part of your experience, you will undertake a Nile Cruise.
And of course, this experiences traces part of the journey undertaken by the Holy Family. “Following in their Footsteps” identifies those areas that they traversed and the communities they touched and sought sanctuary in. Moving and emotional and for most people, the first time they have experienced this type of tour. This is, above all, part of a footnote of history and of the people whose paths have crossed with Egypt. The experience will appeal to not only those who have faith, but those who are keen to learn more about the forces and people which have shaped Egypt.
